This is a wonderful site for FREE textures. It has become my new "go to" for textures. Unlike sites such as TextureKing.com, which anyone can add a texture to, this site has very professional high res textures. They also occasionally post awesome tutorials, that are also FREE, on their blog.

Octopus Love

I did this for a friend on her 21st birthday. The text originally read "Holy ink you're 21." I didn't think most people would want to frame that saying, but possibly the octopus with another saying. So we came up with this, which could work for children or those with quirk-retro-ish taste.
I would like to do one for each letter of the alphabet, but I need ideas on animals for all the letters. Any brilliant, mind-blowing thoughts? Please share the love.

Earrings for Hope

 

In January we, my husband, brother, father, and a couple others, traveled to India to film a documentary. While we were there we encountered a man who is doing incredible things to help the helpless living around his city. He sent us home with some earrings that women handmade their in India. We made these cards to share the cause. The earrings will be sold for $10.00 each and 100% of the proceeds will go back to India help those who are in great need.


47% of all the world’s malnourished children live in India. It’s easy to look past those who cannot look out for themselves. Many Indian children, just like this girl, need your help. By buying this pair of earrings you are giving a child hope. Proceeds from these earrings will go towards providing food, education, health care, clean drinking water, clothes, and many other of the most basic necessities that the Western world takes for granted. Thank you for making a difference, for giving hope.

City of Kilgore Logo

Just recently finished up the project with The City Of Kilgore. A few months ago we started working on their logo. After about 30 different logo options, the city council landed on this version of the Logo. We are very excited to see it up soon. It should go up on water towers, storefronts, city trucks.

birth announcements

I was over at my neighbor's house yesterday. She is a mother of 4 and the youngest is 6 months old. She told me that for each of her children she wanted to send cute birth announcements that had room for plenty of pics of her newborn. So, I decided to design a couple of announcements.

The idea is for just $15.oo, I will insert the baby's info and pics and send the digital copy to the parents. They can then print the 5x7 in. announcements wherever they want.
